A joyous night was held by all who attended the 2019 Front Page Awards, presented since 1937 by the Newswomen’s Club of New York. The 2019 FPAs recognized journalistic excellence among women working in newspapers, television, wire services, photography, online media, magazines and radio. The 82nd annual awards, featuring several recent categories including podcast and social video, honor exceptional newswomen at more than two dozen local, regional and national outlets across the New York metropolitan area were presented at a black-tie gala on November 7 at The Down Town Association in Manhattan.
